Great Wall Motors Launches New Models Of Autos In Australia

Recently, Great Wall Motors held the unveiling ceremony for Haval H5 of European Edition and Wingle 5 in Sydney Opera House, Australia. In addition, VoleexC10 also made its debut on the Ceremony as a show auto and is expected to come into this market in the second half year of 2011.
 
Haval H5 of European Edition and Wingle 5 entering into Australian market this time are equipped with diesel engine and gasoline engine, of which diesel engine is the GW4D20 diesel engine featuring efficiency and energy-saving, greenness and environment-friendliness, silence and comfort that is independently developed by Great Wall Motors. This type of diesel engine is the first one independently designed and developed by China’s manufacturers, adopting such five advanced technologies as dual overhead camshaft, high pressure common-rail electronic control, VGT inter-cooling, EGR system and valve clearance automatic compensator and reaching world-leading level in terms of emission, engine, noise, low-consumption. This kind of engine meets Euro IV emission standard with its power index per liter reaching 55 KW/L, torque per liter amounting to 155 Nm/L, and power reaching the level of 3.0 L engines, above 10% higher compared with domestic and international products of the same category. As VGT inter-cooling technology is adopted, the noise of the engine is drastically reduced. Haval H5 equipped with such engine can see average decibel of 45.3 Db(A) in the driver cab, roughly the same as those using gasoline engines. This kind of engines will firstly be equipped on Haval H5 of European Edition and Wingle Pickup.
 
As China’s largest Pickup and SUV manufacturer, Great Wall Motors products have already been exported to more than 100 countries and regions. Being one of the main countries to which Great Wall Motors autos are exported, Australia has currently become the country seeing the rapidest growth among Great Wall Motors’ oversea markets. As the first Chinese auto brand entering into Australian Market, Great Wall Motors saw the sales volume of surmounting 10,000 units in Australia in the year 2010. Great Wall Motors plans to export 12,000 units in 2011. Haval H5 and Wingle 5, coming into the market recently, as well as Voleex C10, to be marketed in the second half of the year, will be helpful for completing the sales target.
